FabricAir Trevira CS
Today, FabricAir® Trevira CS is the prime choice of the industry elite and provides unique air dispersion advantages.
FabricAir® Trevira CS is a permeable fabric, so the air is dispersed into the room from the entire surface of the fabric (FabFlow™). This results in a controlled moderate air velocity. By regulating the fabric properties and the air volume permeating the surface, we ensure a draught-free supply of air to the occupied zone.
Condensation is common in metal-based air ventilation systems but does not form on FabricAir® Trevira CS.
Condensation is a problem because bacteria thrive in it. A dispersion system made of permeable condensation-free fabric is ideal in the food industry where health hazards caused by bacterial growth or dripping into food products must be avoided. Fabric systems are cleaned in a washing machine which ensures good hygiene even more.
Dismantling the system for washing and maintenance and re-installing it afterwards are fast and easy.
FabricAir® Trevira CS is flame retardant and complies with the terms of the following standards: DIN 4102 (B1), SIS 650082, C.S.E. RF 1/75 A-RF 3/77 (class 1), NF P 92-503 + NF P 92-504 (M1), BS 5438:1989 (2A+2B), NFPA 90A - UL723.
The shrinkage is only 0.5%, the best on the market. The permeability is guaranteed not to deviate by more than 5%, also the best on the market.
FabricAir® Trevira CS is available with FabFlow™, MeshFlow™ and NozzFlow™ flow models.
Permeable Fabric
Available in several permealibity grades, which helps to ensure precise system dimensioning.
No Condensation
Temperature air from the duct emanates from the entire duct surface, preventing the formation of condensation on the surface. The fabric is particularly well-suited for cooling.
Flame Retardant
The fabric is classified as flame retardant in accordance with the following standards:
- DIN 4102 (B1)
- SIS 650085
- C.S.E. RF 1/75 A-RF 3/77 (class 1)
- NF P 92-503 + NF P 92-504 (M1)
- BS 5438:1989 (2A+2B)
- NFPA 90A - UL723
Washable
The fabric is washable as well as oil and water repellent and ensures top-grade hygiene and a healthy indoor climate at the same time.
Price Index: C
Indicates the price level compared to our fabrics.
A: Most Expensive
L: Least Expensive
Low Tolerance
The guaranteed maximum permealibilty deviation of 5% ensures a stable air flow from the fabric.
Lowest Shrinkage
Maximum shrinkage:
0.5% (best on the market) - the fabric retains its shape after washing.

Suspension
 |
H Rail
The H rail is a stable suspension system that facilitates rapid dismantling of the duct system for washing and maintenance.
For single suspension, sliders are attached to the top of the duct, i.e. at 12 o'clock. For double suspension, sliders are attached at 3 and 9 o'clock.
For single suspension, an H rail can be attached directly under and onto the ceiling to save space - or an H rail can be suspended from perpendicular cables leading down to the rail from the ceiling through other existing ceiling equipment. |
 |
T Rail
A T rail is always attached directly to the underside of the ceiling.
For single suspension, the duct sliders slide into the bottom part of the rail. The sliders sit in a row at the top row of the duct, at 12 o'clock. For double suspension, two rows of sliders slide into two rails. The sliders are attached to straps along the sides of the duct at 3 and 9 o'clock.
T rails are also used for suspending half-round (D-shaped) fabric dispersion systems. This is done using one of two methods: a bulb edge or sliders. Both types slide into the rails for easy duct removal. |
 |
Cable
Cable suspension is economical and simple to install, because few tools are required, etc. Cables are strungcrosswise between the end walls for both single suspension and double suspension.
For single suspension, plastic hooks mounted at the top of the duct, i.e at 12 o'clock, snap into the cable.
For double suspension, the hooks are snapped onto both cables, in this case mounted at 3 and 9 o'clock.
While cables are economical to install, they require a little more work to dismantle and reinstall than H rails and Trails . |
